A more attuned connection is closer than you think.

“HELD” makes it a practice.

Through guided restorative touch, you'll learn how to give your partner something increasingly rare: your full attention, your gentle presence, and your care—with nothing expected in return.

That kind of touch ignites relationships.

“Lauren made us feel comfortable from the very beginning. HELD was gentle, encouraging, and surprisingly fun—we laughed, relaxed, and learned practical ways to care for each other that we still use today. We left with more than techniques; we gained confidence in our ability to connect, and our relationship is stronger because of it.”

Coaching for Couples

Held complements couples therapy by teaching practical, restorative touch practices that help partners strengthen trust, intimacy, and connection between sessions.

About the Founder

Lauren Christian is the founder of HELD Relationships, a somatic relationship educator, 500-ERYT yoga teacher, and graduate student preparing to become a couples therapist. With more than 25 years of embodied practice and 15 years of teaching experience, she brings deep expertise in restorative movement, nervous-system awareness, and consensual partner touch.

Lauren created HELD to help midlife couples cultivate connection, trust, and play through practices they can experience—not simply discuss. She works as a collaborative partner to couples therapists, offering an embodied complement to clinical care that helps clients practice presence, co-regulation, communication, and safe connection between sessions.
